We are looking for a detail-oriented CNC Programmer with a strong background in the Aerospace industry to join our team in Banashankari, Bangalore. This role is perfect for a technical professional who thrives in a precision-driven environment and possesses deep expertise in Siemens NX and Vericut.
Position Details
- Role Type: Full-time, Permanent (Work from Office).
- Working Days: Monday to Friday (Weekends off).
- Location: Banashankari, Bangalore.
- Salary: ₹5,00,000 – ₹9,00,000 LPA (Commensurate with experience and skill set).
Key Responsibilities
- Programming & Optimization: Develop, verify, and optimize complex CNC programs for multi-axis machines using Siemens NX.
- Simulation & Validation: Run full-scale machining simulations in Vericut to ensure collision-free paths and optimize cycle times.
- Process Planning: Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining parameters (speeds/feeds) based on material properties and aerospace specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Interpret technical drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to ensure all parts meet stringent aerospace quality standards.
- Troubleshooting: Collaborative problem-solving on the shop floor to resolve programming issues or machining deviations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in CNC programming.
- Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Siemens NX (CAM) and Vericut is mandatory.
- Domain Expertise: Proven experience working within the Aerospace domain is a strict requirement.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of advanced machining processes, cutting tool geometries, and aerospace-grade materials (e.g., Titanium, Inconel, Aluminum alloys).
