JOB ROLE:
Project Manager to plan, execute and oversee IT projects for financial institutes. Job
role requires to have good understanding Project management, Software
Development Lifecycle, IT Infrastructure especially AWS CLOUD, background of
web application development.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for project planning and execution.
- Responsible for tracking deliveries and reporting the same to stake holders.
- Responsible for communication with Offshore/Onsite development team, customer
IT team, business users. - Responsible for reviewing & working on documentation required during project life
cycle and walkthrough with users / client. - Understand technical & functional aspect of project and provide inputs for internal /
external reviews. - Creating and sharing project reports, weekly project status with Customer
- Share the development technology and business knowledge gained through the
work with other members at previous projects and studies. - Desired for the Position:
- EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as project management (Both Junior PM and PM is
acceptable). - Requirement definition / Design / Development and testing experience for web
applications. - Understanding of cloud platforms preferably AWS is required.
- Experienced working in software system development.
- Experience on Banking & Financial (BFSI) Domain
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Plan for the scope, timelines, resources, milestones
- Experience working with project manager, project lead as an PM/engineer.
- Experience with defining requirements in standard requirement document formats.
- Process management and documentation using tools such as EXCEL, BUGZILLA,
JIRA etc. - Knowledge of any programming language like C#, JAVA and Python is required.
- Understanding of IT Infrastructure (AWS-Cloud) and Software Development
Lifecycle. - Bilingual, having good communication skills in Japanese / English, both verbal and
written.
To summarize IT Project managers with experience of system engineer are suitable
for this role.
Some Additional Input: - Requirement is for a Native bilingual(Japanese and English) PM professional
located in Japan. - Should understand the SDLC processes.
- Banking & Financial (BFSI) Domain experience is mandatory
- Experienced in creating basic design or requirement documents based on
customer inputs and pass on to development team. - Skills and knowledge about AWS and in performing Testing.
- Should be experienced in conducting validation of deliverables from offshore, and
sanity testing before passing on things to client. - Stand upto manage client’s demanding requests.
- Stability is important.
