Position: Application Engineer – Data Center Infrastructure

Job Summary

The Application Engineer – Data Center Infrastructure will support sales and project teams by developing tailored technical solutions for customers. The role focuses on product selection, technical proposals, and system integration for Data Center infrastructure components including UPS systems, Busway, PDUs, Racks, Containment Systems, and Cable Management.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with pre-sales experience, providing robust solutions that meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose appropriate Data Center infrastructure solutions
• Provide technical support and product recommendations during the pre-sales process
• Prepare technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, BOQs (Bill of Quantity), and proposals
• Customize solutions involving UPS, PDU, Track Busway, Racks, Containment Systems, and cable management according to project needs
• Work with vendors and internal teams to ensure product compatibility and system integration
• Conduct customer presentations, product demonstrations, and technical workshops
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies related to Data Center infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Center or electrical infrastructure design, preferably in a pre-sales or technical solution role
• Strong knowledge of power systems (UPS, Busway, PDU), cooling concepts, containment solutions, and rack/cable management
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, or similar design tools is a plus
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
