Data Centre Operator

Primary role to act as DC operator to

1. Processing vendor/visitor DC security clearance.
2. Escort vendor/visitor into DC.
3. Escalation and attending to alert notification (after office hours).
4. Support monthly, quarterly, yearly maintenance and Building
   management maintenance, E.g. power shutdown, aircon, UPS.
5. Support and coordinate for hardware disposal, E.g. Harddisk, media,
   backup tapes.
6. Load/Unload backup tapes and prepare to send off-site.
7. Maintain and update hardware inventory and rack system.
8. Conduct daily checks to ensure DC temperature at acceptable level,
   unusual blinking light and sound generated from devices.
9. Raise incident in ITSM and monitor till closure.
10. Prepare daily/monthly report to customer.
