DevOps Engineer

Job Description :

• We are looking for a DevOps Engineer responsible for expanding and optimizing our cloud platform architecture in AWS, operate and monitor this platform as well as help development teams to land their applications to it. The ideal candidate is an experienced cloud platform builder. The DevOps Engineer will support our software developers, software architects, and security analysts on system’s performance and security to make sure that cloud platform architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects.

Responsibilities include :

• Continuous improvement of platform, prioritize request interfaced from inside the organization
• Continuous improvement and maintenance core and shared services
• providing technical consultancy to application project team such that the objectives and IT infrastructure requirement of the project are successfully met and implemented
• Provide cloud engineer services to accelerate application migration or new product development
• Identify, test, communicate and implement emerging cloud technologies to improve operational efficiency, speed-to-market and reduce annual running cost
• Support audit and infrastructure / network security scans, disaster recovery and security related drills
• Any relevant ad-hoc duties.

Job Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. MS or PhD degree is a plus. Having at least experience of the following

• 1+ years of advanced working with infrastructure-as-code systems like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation is necessary.
• 1+ years of CI/CD tool (such as Jenkin, Travis, TeamCity, or AWS CodeBuid) experience is required. Continuous test and configuration experience is a plus.
• 1+ years working with Linux OS. Knowledge of networks and cybersecurity is a plus
• Experience with AWS services like Codecommit, Lambda, VPC, Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail, AWS config etc.)
• Experience with scripted language like Python,Bash etc.
• Experience with some Network & Security tools (Cisco VPN, Nginx, Squid, F5, Tibco Cloud
• Mashery, Akamai, Splunk etc.) is a plus
• Experience with some Infrastructure tools & OS (RHEL, Docker, OpenShift – Kubernetes etc.) is a plus
• Experience with some DevOps concepts andpractices (CI/CD, continuous configuration,
• Canary, Rolling, Blue/Green, Platform governance, Logging and monitoring etc.) is a plus

• Ability to communicate with technical and non- technical stakeholders
• Experience in Agile (SCRUM)/Waterfall methodology.
